At the same time, from 1990 to '95 a short and intense period takes place where
the brushes were forgotten for a while. Studies in colour pencil in large sizes
(180 x150cm) on rough Swedish paper. At first a series of 15 nude studies in
tempting poses and quite exposing. An atmosphere that keeps more often returning
in the later and more recent works. More drawings, life size, with Angels and
Devils, posing in cynical humorous pornographic images and exalting movements
showing physical intimacy.
Always using bright colours contrasting with cool grey backgrounds that do not
have the significance as the earlier surroundings. |
